How long should I wait to walk on my carpet after getting them cleaned?
It's generally a good idea to wait at least 6 to 12 hours before walking on freshly cleaned carpets. This allows the carpet to dry properly and ensures that any cleaning agents used have had time to set. If you can, wait until the carpet feels dry to the touch. You might also want to check the carpet cleaning company’s recommendations, as drying times can vary based on the type of cleaning and carpet
Using fans can help speed up the drying process for your carpets. Positioning a few fans around the room can help circulate air and reduce drying time. Just make sure the carpet is not too damp when you start using them, as excessive airflow on a very wet carpet can sometimes push moisture into the padding underneath. If the carpet is only slightly damp, fans are a great way to help it dry more quickly.
